Music in the Village 2015

On Saturday evening 11 April, Ashton United Church was filled with instrumental music, vocal music, and dancing. Performers who entertained and had the audience tapping their toes were:
– Ray Lowe (fiddle),
– Bruce Peterkin (vocal),
– Jennifer Gilbert (guitar and vocal),
– Jeff Gilbert (guitar and vocal),
– Marion Miller and Grace Armstrong (Irish harp and vocal),
– Phoenix and Raven (fiddle),
– Karen Wiggins (trumpet).

Everyone present enjoyed a good time with something for everyone. The Ashton United Church volunteers server delicious refreshments and goodies at the break. Here is a glimpse of the performers. For those who were not able to attend, plan to take this event in next year and break those winter doldrums. Thank you to Jeff Gilbert who organized this event.
