Ashton Church Anniversary 2014

Sunday 8 June 2014 saw members of the Ashton and Munster United Churches worshipping in the Ashton Church to celebrate the anniversary of the Ashton congregation. During the service the question was asked exactly how old was the congregation. The answer was no one knew exactly and people were still researching the exact year.

During the meditation Rev. Arlyce demonstrated something special not normal experienced in a service. She popped one kernel of popping corn over one of the candles. The members in the church seemed fascinated watching it and waiting for ti to pop. Below are a photo of that moment and during the lunch afterward.

People were focused on the progress of one kernel of popping corn being heated over a candle.
